My Journey

Hello and welcome.

I am Brenda Etheridge, a committed instructional designer and eLearning developer, driven with a passion to create engaging and highly effective learning experiences.

As a native of California, I bring with me an engaging sense of humor and a profound appreciation for Los Angeles. Early in my professional journey, I immersed myself in the corporate realm, acquiring invaluable skills that now constitute an essential part of my professional toolkit.

In 1999, I seamlessly transitioned into the realm of Learning and Development, assuming the role of a Trainer.

Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of entering diverse sectors, including sales, pharmaceuticals, medical, and healthcare. Embracing a cross-training approach, I sought a comprehensive understanding of each field, positioning myself as a valuable resource to my colleagues. Entering the field of property and casualty insurance marked a pivotal moment when my passion for learning and development flourished. This passion propelled me to adeptly manage high-profile projects, training individual contributors and leaders, and ascend into the realm of instructional design.

My professional journey is characterized by an unwavering commitment to continuously learn and a keen spirit for acquiring new skills. Outside the professional sphere, I enjoy exploring my creative side, with a profound love for crafting (i.e. knitting, welding, wreath making etc.), travel, and the arts. Photography, a hobby borne out of my extensive travels, serves as a medium through which I capture and share the intrinsic beauty and essence of my environment and subjects, showcasing a distinctive perspective through my lens.
